Celebrating Carlow Vocational School

Class Reunions for the class of 1983 and 1977

Carlow Vocational School is celebrating no less than three birthdays in 2013. Its predecessor began classes for adults in 1853; the Vocational School was formally established ninety years ago in 1923, and moved to its current location on the Kilkenny road forty years ago in 1972/3. With over 1000 students enrolled each year, the school continues to grow from strength to strength, and is looking forward to a new era with the announcement of a new school building for 2016.

To celebrate these anniversaries, Carlow Vocational School is hosting a Photographic Exhibition in Visual Carlow charting the life and achievement of the school, its students and staff. All are welcome to come celebrate and share memories of the time at Carlow Vocational School, and in particular the Leaving Certificate Classes of 1983 (celebrating 30 years) and 1977 (the first year group of 1972) are invited to join us for a reunion.
Location: Visual Carlow
Exhibition: from 5th to 24th March
