FETAC Level 5 Sport & Recreation

CERTIFICATION

Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC): Level 6 - Leisure Management

Due to ongoing developments in FETAC, award names and content are subject to change.

ILAM Diploma in Leisure Management (subject to change)
NCEF(CEHF), University of Limerick .
Various Sports Governing Body Coaching Awards eg GAA, FAI etc

HIGHER EDUCATION

FETAC graduates are eligible to apply to Institutes of Technology and Universities for follow-on courses.
 

ADDITIONAL FEES

Ilam Certification – €700 (Course Manual & Ilam pool plant operators course included)
Fitness Qualification - €900
Course Tracksuit - €50

GARDA VETTING

Garda Vetting is a requirement on courses / programmes where students / learners have access to children or vulnerable adults.  Prior to attending work experience students / learners must be vetted by the Gardai.  All students / learners being offered a place on a course/programme will be issued with Garda Vetting forms by post with the course offer. 

Students / learners who have lived outside the jurisdiction of Ireland / Northern Ireland and for whom Garda Vetting is unavailable are required to provide vetting from the relevant police authorities.

     
All our programmes are subject to approval by the Department of Education & Skills and validation by FETAC
